Christmas 2008.
This year the Winum family thoughtfully donated a large evergreen from their property to serve as the Village's Christmas Tree. Workers from NYSEG, along with the Walden DPW carefully removed the tree and repositioned it in Village Square. The tree lighting ceremony was held on December 4th. Many thanks to the WCC Beautification Committee and the Village Recreation Dept. for making the event so special for the children of Walden!
